Hi and welcome to my Polyhedron Dream!

I'm Natália, a cat parent, bookworm and applied mathematician in the making. I'm currently pursuing a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics and I do research on Operations Research, a super duper fascinating field. But apart from loving math, I love sharing it, and that's what made me start to write about it. I'm still a practicing explainer, but I hope you enjoy my math ramblings and the topics I come up with. You'll probably see a lot of Combinatorics and Discrete Optimization, but many other topics as well. I like to learn pretty much anything in math, and the more geometric, the better (which explains why I almost bombed abstract algebra at college, but that's another story). Oh, and of course, multidimensional polyhedra are my all time favorite mathematical objects, you for sure will see them around here in the future.

The important stuff: 

- I'm not one to get technical about anything, but to the curious math nerds around, advanced bibliography will usually be available at the end of every piece. Conceptually and notation heavy pieces will come with a warning so that no one gets scared.

- If you ever feel bored or confused reading a piece, hit me up and I'll do my best to make it easier to read. I'm also open to any feedback or questions that may arise!

- English is my second language and mistakes can come up often, but I'll make corrections anytime they are spotted. Don't hesitate to tell me if you find one! My first language is Portuguese, and plans to a bilingual blog are totally up, but I still don't know when it'll happen.

- Blog design is provisory and will surely get prettier with time.
